Stanley J. Bytnar was Baptized in the hope of Christ's Resurrection; Stan passed on February 22, 2026
Dear husband of 59 years to Eileen Bytnar; father of David (Andrea), Elizabeth, Laura (Jeff), and Dan (Dee); grandfather of Joseph (Mia), Paul, John, Ben, Nathan, and Mia; brother of Tom (Sue) and Mike (Joyce). He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Angeline and by his daughter Elizabeth.
Stan graduated from CBC High School and Washington University, served in the U.S. Army, and worked for McDonnell Douglas and Boeing as a mathematician. He enjoyed fishing and other outdoor activities with his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider Mass intentions for him or contributions to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Assumption Church in O'Fallon, MO.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Assumption Church in O'Fallon, MO at 10:30 am on Friday, March 13, 2026. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 am until time of Mass at 10:30 am. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
